Hello, you have reached the website for the world famous Wreckingham Football Club. We don't lie and we don't brag about things we haven't done but we are great and we are all top level players.
All that aside, this site is pretty much all about us, and how great we are, no surprise there, and what we are up to now.
Having played under various names of late due to sponsor commitments, we thought it was about time we just used our name, plain and simple. Previous seasons in various leagues have seen us playing as bizibus, game on, give it to gordon and give it up. But alas, no more, just plain old Wreckingham F.C. now, much better.
At the moment we have just started a new season of 5 a side at Rye Sports Centre for the Football Mundial League on tuesday evenings. Some of our players have just finished the season in Hastings at Horntye Park playing for another team and I am playing for one of the teams down there in the new season in a couple of weeks time. This year in September, we had planned to step up to East Sussex county league football 11 a side but work commitments have put that on hold for at least another season. We had the finances and sponsor in place which was half the battle won but players can also be a problem. Half of the twats say that they'll play and don't show, usual crap.
This is why we play the current league with just 5 men each week, no subs, no moaning about who pays what then.
First match came and went and we took a drubbing. We lost 14-2. We held our own for at least the first 3 mins of the match which was good. We all enjoyed the game, win or lose, it's all about the sport for us, always has been. Too many teams up their own arses that think they are special and deserve automatic respect well bollocks. We've played for them and I can tell you now, don't bother. Far better to play for a team with a team atmosphere that really enjoys what they do than one with shit heads running it taking themselves too seriously.
So, the first match, 14-2 , pretty big loss and we are sitting firmly at the bottom of the table but only on goal difference. Plenty others lost their first match aswell, but to be fair we haven't played 5 a side in doors before and it is a whole lot different to the 6 a side we are used to so the transition might take a couple of matches.
I'm sure we'll get there though and no worries if we don't.

OK, so after a disastrous first match, we have drafted in a new player who used to play for my 6 a side teams and all change. Terry made all the difference. We were confident and playing as a team again. We played The Flackley Ash and we won 17-3. That result also gets our goal difference into the + side of things which could be important later in the season. More soon.

Same team line up this week and should be for the rest of the season. We beat a team called Balls Deep by 9-4. Even after the first half but we flew off into the second half. A couple of the goals I let in were real soft and I should've saved them, one nutmegged me and the other went under my arm but hell, we still had a good result.

This week we beat a team called Team Union, 4-2. They mainly avoided a drubbing due to the antics of their goalkeeper who deserves a mention and that was it. No Terry this week but Ryan did well in his place and scored, and also gave the others a penalty which I didn't save . Cheers mate. They scored an own goal for us and a cracker it was aswell.

We just lost 2 weeks running. Last week to Crazy Horses, we lost 5-3 and then again this week to Brasil U25's. They had a fat twat up front that kept cheating. They won 4-3. It was a good close game and had we realised they would play dirty then we'd have changed tac and done same. Next time we'll just hammer them into the wall and take the ball. Screw being nice anymore, I'm bored of losing. We're gonna get back on track next week and have a sort out, no probs.

15th April and we lost for the 3rd week on the trot. To a sandwich bar team, Jeeez, like they've eaten all the pies and sarnies then beat us, saying that, they don't play clean football and we've come to learn that the teams at the top are the dirty bastards, we lost 4-3 I think, I forget.

22nd April. We won against a team near the top so good result for us. We won 6-5 so quite an eventfull match, plenty of end to end stuff with me doing great in goal as usual, apart from the occasional 5 goals I let in I did great. ( I think they only had 6 shots so I did save one ). We done good but as usual the losers were pissed off, making out they scored in the dying moments. I didn't see coz my back was to it and the ref called it a no goal so for a change things went our way.

29th April . We got a good win against the Dunes Bar also from Camber. They played well but we were better on the day. 6-2 to us. No worries

6th May. We lost to a shit team called juande ramos what ever that means. It was 5-2 I think and to be fair they were only saved from a serious drubbing by their goalkeeper who did well to stop the barrage of shots we fired at them. I didn't do aswell and we lost. Bummer. We'll get them next time.

We have still scored more goals in the whole league than any of the others.
